Hello,

I need to repaer a hole in a VW Golf 4 gearbox carter. The hole is 20mm x 30mm would this materiel allow me to feel the gap and close that hole?
The carter is made of aluminium alloy with the stamping "GD-TL023" on it. Will that materiel stick to it?
Regards
Eric

From the description, I could weld brass nuts to aluminum flashing, right?? I would put a stainless steel bolt/screw into they so it wouldn't fill the hole so to speak. Can this be done?
